The details behind a commission.

I · The commission

Build your watch in the configurator, part by part, then send us the build code. We confirm parts, price, and timing by email — nothing is charged until you approve the final quote. Then one bench, one pair of hands, your watch.

A short code — something like AH-6222-2722R — that encodes every part you chose, down to the colour. It's your build's fingerprint: we assemble precisely what it describes, and pasting it back into the configurator reconstructs your watch exactly.

Freely, until parts are ordered. After that, we'll tell you honestly what can still change and what can't. A new build code is all we need.

The running total in the configurator estimates parts only. The final quote adds assembly and delivery, and we confirm it with you before anything begins.

II · The watch

The Seiko NH family — NH35 with date, NH36 day-date, NH38 no-date, NH34 true GMT. Automatic, hand-winding, hacking seconds, 21,600 vph. Quietly dependable, and serviceable by any competent watchmaker, anywhere.

Cases, dials, hands and bracelets are sourced from specialist makers we trust — each part in the configurator names its maker. Every piece is inspected at the bench before it's fitted.

Yes — every handset ships with its matching seconds hand, and the configurator selects it by default. Choosing a different seconds hand is an option, never a requirement.

Every build is pressure-checked before it ships. The rating depends on the case you choose, and we state yours plainly in the final quote.

III · Care & delivery

Typically two to four weeks from the approved quote. One watch at a time — we'd rather be honest than fast, and we'll tell you if your parts change that.

Tell us. Every watch is regulated, pressure-checked, and worn on the bench for a day before it leaves. If a fault is ours, we make it right.
